The Next Step

If you are interested in adopting any of our foster animals, the next step is for us to arrange to carry out a homevisit. The aim of this visit is simply to “pop and chat” to you in a relaxed atmosphere about what is involved in keeping rabbits.

Because of the nature of our scheme (our rabbits are fostered in private homes) we carry out this homevisit before inviting you to view the rabbits in person. This gives us a chance to meet you and discuss your proposed rabbit accommodation, and also to meet any existing rabbits with a view to advising you on a suitable companion.

We carry out a homevisit for everyone who wants to adopt one of our bunnies (even those who have been “keeping rabbits for years”). We simply tailor the visit to the individual adopter, from the couple with the young children who have no experience of rabbits, to the enthusiastic rabbit keeper who may already have a fair few rabbits of their own – you never know, you might be able to teach us a thing or two!

The form below is intended to collect all the basic information we need about individuals or families wishing to adopt an animal. If you are serious about offering to rehome an animal, please take a moment to ensure all details are filled out as accurately as possible, then press the 'submit' button once.

Once we have reviewed your details, one of our volunteers will contact you as soon as possible so please ensure you leave us a contact telephone number. We look forward to hearing from you.
